Today I have some super fun 3D Heart Pop Up Cards you can make for Valentine’s Day. These pretty little hearts are easy to create too! And I will share two different ways you can use the pop up hearts in your card making.
The cards in this video feature products from the Stampin’ Up! From My Heart suite. However, keep in mind that you can use this pop up card technique with just about any shape. One of my favorite things about these 3D Hearts is that they will lay flat for mailing!
Creating the Pop Up 3D Hearts
So first let’s talk about how to create the little pop up 3D Hearts. The concept for creating the pop up hearts is similar to the pop up Christmas tree cards I created last year. You can check out those fun little pop up cards HERE:

The first card showcases 3 heart shaped doilies adhered together to create the pop up section. The second card features 5 scalloped hearts adhered together to create the pop up section. The card design is exactly the same for both cards. The only difference is the type of 3D heart used for the pop up section. Again, you can clearly see how much fuller the 3D heart becomes when you use 5 hearts instead of 3.
